10th / 11th October 2020 - Avalon Archers - Bedfordshire

Avalon Archers are a Field Archery club based in woodlands in Sandy, Bedfordshire.

With convenient easy access to the A1.

Terrain : Avalon are very lucky, in that their ground is on one of the few wooded hills in the area. With this in mind the terrain is very mixed, offering flat areas, to great up and down shots.

SATNAV Users Grid Ref = 52°07'45.1"N 0°15'49.5"W

Directions from the A1: Leave the A1 at the Bedford / Sandy roundabout and follow the signs for the B1042 sign posted for Sandy Town Centre / Potton.  At the roundabout take the 3rd exit through the town and out towards the train station. Follow this round, and you will come to a mini roundabout with Sandy station on your right. Continue over the railway bridge to a second mini round about where you will turn left shortly after. Turn left on to Swaden and follow the road round to the right. The entrance to the wood is on the right and will be clearly sign posted.
