Team Competition

Will be on Friday Afternoon - unless specified.

Teams will be made up by the 3DA Officials.

10 Target Competition max distance 50 yards.

Teams with members that are in shorter distance classes will move up closer to the target. This will be explained on the Range.

Check your Team and Range Assignment.

Get yourself to your range 15minutes before your start time.

Walk to your assigned target and Introduce yourself to the rest of your group, discuss tactics, etc. One person to score the Team Card.

If you want to walk up and down the length of the range on the "safe" path to see what's coming you can, but make sure you are on your peg 10 minutes prior to your start time.

Range Officials will check all groups are as they should be and will shout to get the course underway.

Once all of your group has shot the designated target, leave the bows and equipment at the shooting peg and the group will advance 5 paces toward their target and wait until the groups either side of them have finished shooting and verbally agreed it is safe for you to score and collect your arrows.

All arrows are to be marked on the score card - with the lowest scoring arrow to be dropped from the total score for that target. This is dependent on the Team Size and will be confirmed before you start shooting.

If you need to retrieve and arrow from behind a target then this may be done if it can be seen and is safe to do so. At least one member of the group must stay in front of the target until the whole group has returned from behind the target.

Collect bows and equipment and move to next target.

At the end of the round check all scores are correct and the columns tally.

All card must be signed by all Team Members. One member of the team will hand the score card to the range Official that will be waiting at the entrance of your course.

Please leave the course as you find it - do not leave litter!!
The Round will take approximately 1 hours and 45 minutes to complete.
Entry fee is £10.00 - of which £6.00 per entry is pay back.The total of which will be Paid Back to the top 2 Teams per 10 target competition.Equal share per Team Member. Juniors will be paid in the form of Vouchers.
For Example:
10 x Teams of 5 people per Team = total Prize Fund of £300.00
1st Place Team receives £40.00 per Team Member
2nd Place Team receives £20.00 per Team Member
